The emotive expression has always taken centre stage at GDD, and Faber 'Candy' Mixie is a prime example. Faber approached GDD to design a mixer grinder that could visibly change the form factor, furthering Faber's design beliefs and ideologies. The project resulted in 'Candy', a rugged machine packaged in a design born from an Indian aesthetic, paying homage to its organic lifestyle. A delicate balance of modernity and nostalgia resulted in a style that could blend into an Indian kitchen without any obstructions.
