Designing Velocity was in answer to a cluttered market with similarly designed semi-automatic washing machines. GDD started the project to create a product with simple functionality while using premium quality material and processes for production.

Studying the current market trends showed us that we had to move away from the cliched semi-automatic washing machine forms. Designed primarily for the Indian Market, we started to explore the bold aesthetics of supercars and translate them into a semi-automatic washing machine. Questioning every curve, detail, hinge, and part to ensure that it all came together and fit well. This approach helped us create a unique and intentionally sophisticated-looking product for our customers.
