Zapilio is an AI-powered digital assessment platform designed to streamline the process of evaluating prospective candidates' skills. It enables hiring managers and talent acquisition professionals to make more informed hiring decisions, track employee skill development, and improve overall workforce performance.The project scope involved designing two core products for the platform:1SkillZap (Recruitment Tool): A solution that automates candidate screening, helping users efficiently shortlist talented candidates.2.SkillZap (Upskilling Tool): A tool designed to support employee and team development through personalized learning paths, courses, and assessments.The objective was to create seamless, user-friendly experiences tailored to the needs of both recruitment and employee upskilling.

Problem statement

The challenge was to design a user-friendly platform for Zaplio that caters to two distinct user groups: hiring managers and candidates. For hiring managers, the goal was to create an intuitive interface that allows them to build assessments quickly and assess a large pool of candidates efficiently. For candidates, the focus was on designing an engaging experience that motivates them to upskill and stay invested in their development journey, while ensuring the product remains easy to use for both groups.

Design solution

Our solution was a easy to use platform that enables hiring managers to search for any skill assessment test on the platform and quickly create a test session and share it with the candidates. All within 10 mins. Hiring managers can also upload a CV of a ideal candidate and let the the platform create a test based on the CV to find similarly skills professionals. On the other hand, candidates can choose to sign up after taking the test and work on improving their skill sets by studying small modules. They can climb up the leaderboard as they gain more score and use the leaderboard report as a validation of their skills to help them get hired.
